For most people money is a mysterious thing. It behaves in mysterious ways. For example, where does it go? How is it that you get paid a decent wage and yet you always seem to have more month at the end of your money? Or perhaps you look at your neighbors/friends/coworkers and they seem to be living the good life. Why can’t you live like that?
There may be many reasons that you seem to be having these experiences. You notice I am using the word “seem” a lot? That’s quite on purpose. You see, money is actually very simple. It’s very straight forward. But it “seems” to be mysterious because we avoid dealing with it on that fundamentally basic level. It somehow feels safer if we keep money mysterious.
